Bank Credit Grows 9.54% to Rs 67,83,127 crore
Oct 29, 2015: Reserve Bank of India has published data on credit. According to RBI Data, Schedule Commercial Banks’ credit has been increased to Rs. 67,83,127 crore by 9.54 per cent in two weeks ended October 16.
In the same period, the loan was Rs. 61,92,158 crore last year.
The credit amount has been increased by 9.45 per cent as compared to last year.
"We do not see any fresh investments. Demand from corporates is not there. We can see some pick up in the fourth quarter," Dena Bank Executive Director R K Takkar said.
Deposits were Rs. 82,36,670 crore in the previous year. The amount is Rs 91,63,815 crore now. It raised by 11.25 per cent.
