OMCs hike petrol rates by 35 paise on Thursday
On Thursday, state-owned companies (OMC) raised the price of petrol in Delhi. 35 paise increased each litre. After daily updates, a litre of petrol cost Rs.86.65 in the national capital. This increase was noticeable after seven days when the rate was kept unchanged. It should be noted that the price of petrol has increased 11 times since the beginning of the year which has resulted in the increase in petrol prices by Rs.2.94 per litre. In the global market, the price of crude oil has remained stable over the past few weeks following the discovery of consumption in all major world economies and the single production cuts announced by Saudi Arabia.
