Gold price in India today plunged once again for the fifth day in a line in the shadow of a stronger US dollar. On MCX, a Multi-Commodity Exchange, February gold futures declined by 0.3 percent to Rs 48,780 per 10 grams now. The price of the gold has fallen by nearly Rs 7,500 since its peak record of Rs 56,300 per 10 grams in August. In the last period, gold prices fell remarkably by 0.6 percent to Rs 48,845 for 10 grams.
