Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture
Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme for the all-encompassing development of the agriculture area covering natural products, vegetables, root and tuber crops, mushrooms, flavours, blossoms, sweet-smelling plants, coconut, cashew, cocoa and bamboo.
While the Government of India (GOI) contributes 85% of the complete expense for formative projects in every one of the states with the exception of the states in North East and Himalayas, 15% of the offer is contributed by State Governments. On account of the North Eastern States and the Himalayan States, GOI commitment is 100%. Likewise, for the advancement of bamboo and projects of the National Horticulture Board (NHB), Coconut Development Board (CDB), Central Institute for Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland and the National Level Agencies (NLA), GOI commitment will be 100%.
Main objectives of Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture
