AIADMK’s agriculture loan relief under the lens
In Dindigul, there have been many agriculture loans that have previously been given by the AIADMK government, which was done through wrongful means and a proper investigation
has been conducted into this matter, and the loans waived by it, said the cooperatives Minister, Periyasamy.
He had told the reporters on Friday, that Raju had claimed all the details of crop loans and the agricultural loans were available online, but the former minister did not know the difference between computerisation and the online transaction.
“The primary cooperative banks have computers, but they are not integrated with the central cooperative banks, hence the question of online transactions does not arise,” he said.
He also mentioned the loan waiver announcement made on January 31, but the information was still given that those who applied anytime before the announcement, were thoroughly investigated.
Out of the total 4,451 primary cooperative banks, many of them did not have sufficient funds to provide loans, however, there were still records to prove that the loans were given through the same.
