Ashok Leyland’s dispatches of June reach 6448 units
A two-fold increase in the total sales at 6448 units as compared to 3199 units were seen this May as reported by Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland. There was an increase in the total domestic vehicle dispatch dealerships from 2738 units to 5851 units this May. In June, the medium and heavy commercial market rose from 1513 units to 2364 units.
At the same time, light commercial vehicles were also increased from 1225 units to 3487 units this May. Mahindra & Mahindra, an authentic SUV maker is now focusing on reconstructing the marketing organisation with a great emphasis on the digital push. The head of marketing at the automotive business and leading digital initiatives, Harish Lalchandani was brought in who was ahead of strategy at a farm equipment business.
The head of CRM and communications is Neha Anand. She is the global head of digital content, marketing and thought leadership as she joined on July 1, from HCL Technologies. Lalchandani comes with a strong commercial background with over 20 years of industrial and consumer behaviour. He was last the CEO of GE lighting, a South Asian business and has also brought expertise in P&L management, sales and product management.
