Banks Have Sanctioned Rs 1.14 Lakh Crore Loans Till Date To MSMEs Under Credit Line Guarantee Scheme

Out of The Rs 3-lakh crore Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme(ECLGS) which has been created for the MSME sector, About 1.14 lakh crores worth of business loans have been sanctioned to MSMEs because of the Economic Slowdown happened due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Till July 4, the disbursement of loans has been approx 56,091 crores, which has been disbursed to date out of 1.14 Lakh crores under the 100% Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.

This Scheme comes under the Rs 20 Lakh Crore Aatmanirbhar Bharat Scheme announced in May by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
