Gold gains and silver gains for today
New Delhi: Gold in Delhi, on Thursday, rose by ₹177, making the per 10-gram rate ₹47,443, according to HDFC securities.
This rate is now in tandem with the gain in the global rates of the precious metal. It had closed on ₹47,226 in the previous trade. Silver also gained ₹83 to ₹68,277 per kg from the previous trade of ₹ 68,194 per kg.
According to HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel, “Gold prices extended gains hovering above $1830 supported by weaker dollar and fall in US treasury yields.”
In the global market, Gold and Silver were trading at $1831 per ounce and at $26.30 per ounce respectively.
