Maruti Suzuki and the new changes
On Monday, Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest vehicle maker informed about its raise in vehicles due to the increase in input costs.
“This is to inform you that over the past year the cost of the company’s vehicles continues to be adversely impacted due to an increase in various input costs.
Hence, it has become imperative for the company to pass on some impact of the above additional cost to customers through a price rise”, Maruti Suzuki said.
It further said that the hike in prices may vary for different models, it did not specify the quantum of the hike. After January 2021 and April 2021, the hike in July-September 2021 is the third time, the company’s increase in price due to commodity costs.
