Maruti Suzuki’s Subscription Services to be added in four more cities
India’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki NSE 0.69% said on Monday that it has expanded its vehicle subscription service to four cities: Jaipur, Indole, Mangalore and Mysore, for a total of 19 cities.
The company has also launched the Maruti Suzuki Subscription Marketplace model of its subscription service. It serves as an integrated platform providing customized car subscription products at competitive prices through multiple partners. 
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), for its subscription service, has partnered with three subscription partners, namely Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd. (Orix), ALD Automotive India (ALD Automotive), and Myles Automotive Technologies Pvt Ltd (Myles).
The company stated in a regulatory document that with the expansion of the “subscription” service to four new cities, Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore and Mysore, customers can now choose the Maruti Suzuki subscription service in 19 cities.
MSI Senior Executive (Marketing and sales) Shashank Srivastava said that the market model will give customers more power to choose from a range of options based on their requirements. This will lead to the provision of competitive prices and transparency in the processes.
Multi Suzuki subscription plans started in July of last year. Customers can choose from the company’s range of vehicles WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki ARENA, Ertiga, and NEXA’s Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, SCross and XL6, to drive for multiple holding periods without purchasing a vehicle. You only have to pay a comprehensive fixed monthly fee.
This monthly payment includes vehicle rental, registration fees, maintenance, insurance, and other general services related to vehicle use.
Customers can choose whether to switch to a new vehicle or use the option to purchase a subscribed vehicle at the end of their tenure. Meanwhile, customers can close their subscriptions at any time.
