Petrol prices rise all-time high

After a respite of two days, petrol prices have again risen to 105.24 per Litre in Mumbai. Diesel cost 96.72 per litre in Mumbai. After Mumbai, we have Bangalore with petrol being 102.48 per litre where Diesel is rupees 98.54 per Litre. Petrol prices All Time High- crosses 105/L mark

Chennai has also become a part of the list of cities with fuel prices over rupees 100. Its price per litre is 100.13 whereas Diesel is 93.72 / Litre.

The recent hike has made the prices rise in eight cities. In Delhi, the prices have reached 99.16 per litre for petrol and 89.18 per litre for Diesel. Bhopal was the first city that crossed the 100 rupees mark first in the month of May and now we have other cities joining it as well.

In the past two months, the prices have increased by more than 10 per cent! This price rise is much more dangerous considering the current covid 19 situations in which most people have either lost their jobs/ business or faced salary cuts.
