Piaggio vehicles two-wheeler dealerships across India has re-started
On Thursday, Piaggio Vehicles announced the reopening of its two-wheeler dealerships across India which had their operations shut between April and mid-May due to coronavirus infection cases. Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd said in a release that the decision of reopening dealerships came in after the announcement of the lockdown opening guidelines by the authorities.
Piaggio Vehicles is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Italian auto major Piaggio Group. Its product portfolio in India comprises iconic Vespa, and Aprilia scooters apart from small commercial vehicles.
Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director, of the company in India said that they have been working together with their dealers in navigating through the second wave of COVID-19. Also, keep in mind the possible anxiety of their customers during the lockdowns they have announced an extension of original equipment warranty and free service that expires during the lockdown period.”
He also added that the dealerships of the same have geared up now in order to address all vehicle sales and service requirements with utmost precaution according to the lockdown opening guidelines. The company also stated that proper sanitation of its dealerships has been ensured for the well-being of its employees and customers.
In addition to that, specific guidelines such as contactless greetings, using hand sanitisers, maintaining social distancing will be followed in conducting business. Customers can visit, call up or book their Vespa and Aprilia online as well as per local government lockdown guidelines.
Apart from this, customers can also avail of special offers on Vespa and Aprilia in sales and service across all the dealerships which are currently operating and test ride these vehicles as well.
