Punjab about to seek millions as a loan for a project
According to the official statement, it has been coming to notice that the chief minister of Punjab, Mr Amarinder Singh, due to this covid-19 pandemic cabinet virtual meeting was to place where he is about to take turning decision to put some release to meet the objective of the project.
The present situation is not so good that most of the things have been affected by the pandemic. However, the required and the responsible authorities are doing their level best to bring stability to the economy. In the same with respect to Punjab have taken some decisions based on which certain work of development it has been focusing upon to cope with the slow time of the pandemic.
Punjab will apply for a loan of about 210 million dollars with the view of some financing from the world bank or Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to arrange a water supply from a canal and for the same the project is to be mean in Amritsar and Ludhiana with the leadership of Punjab Municipal Service Improvement Project.
According to the project, it has been decided that due to the depletion of the groundwater level, there is a need for replacement in the form of the tube Wells. There has been complaining registered for an insufficient amount of drinking water available with the people.
