Volvo and Eicher Commercial Vehicles reports sales in June
Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, a joint venture called VE commercial vehicles reported sales of 2,438 units in June 2021 recovering from the loss of the 2nd wave of covid – 19 pandemics where the company had sold just 1,358 units in June 2020. 
The sales of VE commercial vehicles in June included 68 units of the Volvo brand and 2,370 units of the Eicher brand, the company said in the report. Eicher Brand buses and trucks reported sales of 1,760 units in the domestic commercial vehicles market in June 2021 whereas it was at only 1,016 units in the same month last year.
Eicher Brand buses and trucks exports were at 610 units in June 2021 and It was at 305 units in June 2020, the report said. Volvo buses and trucks reported sales of 68 units in June 2021 and it was at just 37 units in June last year.
