      The Nodal Officer shall, within 7 working days, seek to settle the matter to the satisfaction of the complainant. If it takes more time for the case to be investigated, the complaint must be accepted by mentioning the need for more time to respond. If the complaint is not resolved within one month of the date of the lodging of the complaint or the complainant is not happy with the reply, he/she will contact the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, appointed by the Reserve Bank of India.
