Redwood Investments sells AU Small Finance Bank shares worth over Rs 1,247 crore

Redwood Investments Ltd. on Friday was reported to sell more than one crore shares to AU Small Finance Bank which are worth more than Rs. 1.247 million in open transactions. According to BSE contract details, Redwood Investments has issued 1.37 shares of AU Small Finance Bank at an estimated cost of Rs 910.55 each.

This took the total amount of this agreement to Rs 1,247.69 crore. In another transaction, Westbridge AIF purchased 59.50 shares from AU Small Finance Bank of Rs. 911.37 when calculated per share on an average.

According to AU Small Finance Bank shares in September 2020, Redwood Investment Ltd and Westbridge AIF held 4.58% and 1.95%, respectively, in the bank as public shareholders. Shares of the AU Small Finance Bank on Friday collected 5.29 percent lower than Rs 893.85 on the BSE. Affle Holdings Pvt. Ltd. has released more than 11 million shares of the company worth R438 million through an open market agreement.

Affle Holdings lost 11,66 lakh shares of the company at an average price of Rs 3,756.44 per share, amounting to $ 438, the data shows. Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund, Nomura Trust and Banking Co Ltd, as well as Nomura Asset Management Malaysia Sdn Bhd Board, buy shares in separate assets.

They bought more than 7.77 shares in Affle (India) at an average price of Rs 3,755 each. Affle Holdings Pte. Ltd owns 52.62% of shares in Affle (India), according to the company’s quarterly share pattern for September 2020. Shares of Affle (India) on Friday closed 4.22 percent lower by Rs 3,785 on the NSE.

Also, Patanjali Govind Keswani and Spank Management Services Pvt Ltd, the promoters of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd, have split more than four company shares at Rs 41.26-41.43 into two separate transaction negotiations. The total transaction amounted to more than $ 169 million. The shares of Lemon Tree hotels on Friday closed 3.12 percent lower at Rs 41.95 on the BSE, while on the NSE, based at Rs 41.70, down 3.81 percent from its previous close.
