Zomato targets Gold with its Subscription Plan

Zomato expects its subscription-based programme which is "Zomato Gold" to bring in $20-25 million in revenue by the end of 2019, spotting the importance of the premium product to the online delivery and restaurant discovery and bookings platform’s top line. 
In addition to that Zomato Gold, which was launched in the year 2016, in Portugal and in the UAE, before being formally launched in India in the month of 2017, has now crossed the milestone of having 800,000 paying subscribers in its home market, according to Gaurav Gupta who is the chief operating officer of Zomato.
Zomato Gold is on the path of hitting the milestone of one million (globally) by the end of this Gupta told ET.
