CFO & Deputy CEO of Jet Airways Airline Resigned yesterday

Due to recent financial loss to the Airline Company Jet Airways, it’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) resigned from their respective positions yesterday. In a recent press conference, the sources confirmed the statement.   

With an experience of over two-and-a-half decades, the Chartered Accountant, Agarwal (Deputy CEO) joined the Airlines in December 2015. Along with this the CEO had some “personal reasons” for his resignation. Agarwal was considered close to the founder Naresh Goyal, and held departments which were related to financial and fiscal management of the company.

Amit Agarwal, having hands-on experience of two-and-a-half decades in the financial sector, has previously worked as a CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Suzlon Energy. He was considered for his leadership qualities also along with his financial knowledge.

Jet Airways, has gone down-and-out of money, due to which there was extreme firing of the Executives and violent incidents were noticed happening among the board members of the company. The Airline Company was not doing well since the past few months which stopped its services from 17th April, ’19.
