Lost millions of customers to their mobile services: Airtel, Idea Vodafone

There has been head-hunt competition between the mobile service providers Airtel, Idea Vodafone, and BSNL since Reliance Jio came in. While Jio has made more than 9 million customers in the last month, on the other hand, other companies like Airtel and Vodafone Idea lost 15.1 million and 14.5 million customers respectively. The data is recorded by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) data recently.

There has been a decrease in the number of users for Airtel and Vodafone Idea. Both the companies together have lost 29.6 million wireless subscribers.

Reliance Jio, the company which is owned by the Richest Man of India, Mukesh Ambani, made an increase in its customer base. According to reports, the number of customers of Jio rose from 297.2 million in February 2019 to 306.7 million by the end of March 2019.

We if talk about the broadband subscribers, Jio again is ranked the highest which has made 306.7 million customers as compared to Airtel (114.6 million subscribers), Vodafone Idea (110.2 million subscribers), and BSNL state-owned (22.14 million customers).

Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel are going under loss since Jio acquired the whole market by making the highest customers use Jio services, and hence making Jio the best and most selling mobile services ever.
