Appointment of the new MD AND CEO in Indian Overseas Bank
Chennai based Overseas Bank has appointed a new MD and CEO. Karman Sekar is designated as a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer replacing R Subramaniakumar who was responsible for the Non performing Assests in the Bank. Non Performing assests are basically those assests which results in the loss for the Banks. The city-headquartered red Bank has that before taking his new role Mr Sekar was appointed as an officer which holds a special duty and whole time director in April 2019.
With his dedication towards his work, he has achieved various positions in his life span. He began his career with the State Bank of India (SBI) as a Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer heading its highest Credit Committee. At SBI, he was also responsible for formulating loan policy of the Bank.
He was also the Probationary Officer in State Bank of India in 1983. He further joined Dena Bank as a Managing Director and CEO. Due to his hard work, he was also headed SBI as a Manager Treasury in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was also linked with the Lucknow circle of SBI as its Chief General Manager
