India To Host 9th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable Next Year

India is now going to host the 9th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable

The International forum said on Tuesday that India is going to host the 9th Asian ministerial energy roundtable next year. 

The date of the 9th Asian roundtable will be announced later and will take the understanding reached in the previous meeting in Abu Dhabi during 2018. The meeting will be focused on global energy security in the age of change. India to host 9th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable next year

India agreed to host the roundtable in a virtual meeting between IEF Secretary-General Joseph McMonigle and oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the IEF said in a statement. 

The statement also said, “Their discussions also covered the IEF agenda of activities, energy market and the recovery of the global economy in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic”. 

One of the world’s largest organisations is The International energy forum(IEF) with 71 member countries, accounting for 90 per cent global energy market. It promotes energy security, market stability and transparency in the transition to a sustainable and inclusive future.
