The loan portfolio has been restructured to be completed in the financial year 2022.
“The restructured loan portfolio will be roughly Rs 67 crore in the current financial year,” says the company.CMD of the bank said in an interview with CNBC-TV18.
“We restructured the loan portfolio of roughly Rs 270 crore in the previous financial year,” he added.
The bank has recovered moreover Rs 200 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year, and the situation on the ground is now far better, he said.
The CRAR of Grameen Bank was 9.1%,” he explained, “but the bank needs to execute the pension liabilities owing to the supreme court (SC) direction, thus the CRAR has been reduced to -0.35 per cent.” J&K Bank owns 35% of Grameen Bank, India owns 50%, and the state owns 15%
He added that the bank will invest Rs 90 crore in J&K Grameen Bank in the near future.
