Petrol prices after today’s hike in fuel rates
Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai on Tuesday hiked again after one day’s gap. As a result, the price in Mumbai is about to cross the Rs 105-mark. After today’s hike in petrol in the city of Mumbai, the fuel price is at Rs 104.90 per litre, and the diesel is at Rs 96.72 a litre. 
Fuel prices have hit a new high record after the 34 paise and 30 paise hikes, respectively. The fuel prices have also hiked in the national capital New Delhi today. Today, the fuel prices in New Delhi has reached Rs 98.81 per litre, and diesel is at Rs 89.18 a litre.
The rate of fuel in Chennai reaches Rs 99.82, and diesel is retailing at 93.74 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol and diesel are sold at Rs 98.64 and Rs 92.03 per litre, respectively.
Fuel Rates increases in the country and differ from state to state as the rates depend on the incidence of value-added tax.
